Red Cosmos Flower Seeds – With its striking carmine blossoms, Cosmos (Cosmos Bipinnatus Sensation Dazzler) is a wonderful addition to any flower garden. It will quickly take root from flower seeds planted in the early spring and blossom all summer long, up until the first hard frost.

It is an annual with lovely feather-like leaves and abundant blooms. They are ideal for the busy or weekend gardener because they tolerate drought and need little upkeep. They are also known as Mexican Asters because they are Mexican in origin.

Red Cosmos Flower Seeds

Flowers from Mexican Aster, or Cosmos, make wonderful cut flowers. The flowers will finish opening in the vase if you cut them just as the petals start to open. In a vase, the blooms can easily endure 7 to 10 days. A lot of flowers can be cut and enjoyed indoors thanks to the lengthy bloom season, and there will still be enough in the garden for the bees and butterflies to enjoy.

After the risk of frost has gone, immediately sow Cosmos Bipinnatus seeds into prepared seed beds. The seeds can be lightly scraped under at a depth of 2-8 CM after being sprinkled over the ready soil. Till they sprout, keep the flower seeds wet. Around 10 weeks after planting, cosmos flowers begin to blossom.
